A Soft Landing Page
Here you find my creative designs on print.
It is some of what I do. So first I offer you my shop...
From here, you'll also find some insight into my soul forge.
Which is intense...
As I am sure you have experienced in your own life during those big growth moments.
Yet even a blacksmith softens something as hard as metal, so that it can be reshaped with vision.
...
What we each do and who we are is more complex than words can clearly convey.
Even if they sufficed, we only really see in others what is within ourselves. A beautiful mirror in us all.
...
Before I continue, perhaps you are only here to buy my prints on various clothing and accessories...
and not for the Forge . . .
Has your curiosity propelled you onwards?
Curiosity for me is a most endearing quality, as it led me into the uncharted, where I get to know myself in new ways.
Like the 11 year old me, who went to the Skeleton Coast of Namibia just north of Swakopmund one Christmas holiday to discover something I never imagined seeing...
My own experiences have taught me, that each of us is their own way, no matter how much we conform to other people's standards or lessons.
Which usually tend to confuse, more than help.
At the same time "we" are the way we walk together.
That whenever more than one of us gathers, we create another entity that exists, because we've both chosen to interact with one another.
There is you, there is me.
Then there is us. It exists, but isn't either of us.
At the same time, it only exists because of both of us.
To simplify this back into its essence, I like to say...
You are your own way, and we are the way we walk together.

I used to be big into philosophy.
Much of it I learned from fantasy authors like David Gemmell and Brandon Sanderson. Compelling storytellers.
The word philosophy means 'a love of wisdom.'
Yet I've found for myself that philosophy is only useful if it becomes a way of life.
Otherwise words bear no power.
We live them through our actions.
Applied to my own life, it can significantly improve over time, as I keep building on it. Like a blacksmith who forms metal with persistent focused curious effort.
In my life, it's become something like this...
"I have a concept. I try it. It comes up against what I engage with. I observe, experience it, feel deeply, then consider and adjust."
"And repeat."

The first books that really got me into reading was Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials. Starting with the Golden Compass.
The Shaman that Lee Scoresby went to find. It's something he said to Lee.
'Everything of man's is earned. None of it is given.'
That statement made me consider myself and talented people alike.
For myself, it made me wonder. 'That what we call talent, are actually skills transferred from our lineage and/or past lives.
While being in the container that can cultivate its maturation.'
It requires effort to create something. And something that really matters takes a lot of effort, lifetimes even.
It becomes a way of life.
A devotion.
All of this over time made me realize that any skill or trait can be cultivated with enough vision and participating in its creation.
