Poem - Eternity yearns to be discovered

The path is certain

To be trodden into the unknown.

As I come to know myself,

I become unknown in my discovery of the true vastness of self.

A mystery onto itself,

discovered and again, mystified in its expansive nature.

The compass points inwards, the path calls to the uncharted!

Were it not for curiosity,

the path would become shrouded.

Obscured by a dwindled sense of dreams.

Yet in wonder, I weave through this life,

curious to what calls to me...

For it evokes a wanderlust to know my own unknown,

that is only ever briefly quenched.

Eternity yearns to be discovered,

again and again.
